This unique piece had origins in the near perfect match of the “picture” and colors of the round Opalized Petrified Wood cabochon from Indonesia. The picture was a near identical match for the marsh view from our Kiawah Island, SC home. The design features a Woodstork carved from warthog tusk flying above the marsh. The setting both below the scene, and on the reverse, features a collection of marsh birds.
