The origin of this piece was an award winning photograph posted on Instagram, of a Polar Bear curled up on a small block of ice and was a great representation of the shrinking ice flows on which these bears depend. My polar bear is carved from silver and rests on a natural Blue Topaz crystal. Carved within the setting is a seal swimming below the surface.
