One of my earliest and most complex bee theme pieces, this cuff was fabricated from silver, with the main segments of the cuff shaped to suggest the outward segments of a hive, and the large Mexican Cherry Amber piece mounted on the hive representing the honey. On the surface sits a bee created in silver with gold highlights, and the honeycomb hive segments are partially filled with carved bone. The honeycomb design is also visible through the amber. To finish the hive theme, the inside of the cuff features another silver bee, within a golden patina lining of the silver.
