This pendant was designed based on the appearance of snow characteristic of this large oval cabochon of Snowbowl Chaledony and immediately conjured a backdrop for two cranes in similar position to the photograph. To complete the Asian inspired composition the piece is suspended from silver tubing oriented to suggest a tori gate. The position and interplay of the two cranes enhances the contrast between the stillness of the backdrop and the action of the birds.
