This necklace features a pair of dragonflies carved from Water Buffalo Horn suspended above a large marquis shaped piece of Amber, with an antiqued silver cap. Above the dragonflies sits a single bead of antique amber matching the beads of the incorporated necklace. The piece reflects a common subject of my much beloved Art Nouveau period. The long amber drop hangs beneath the carved dragonflies whose warm tones and organic feel complement the amber whose shifting colors from honey to deeper earthier hues create a cohesiveness to the ensemble.
