This early addition to my collection of bee and hive inspired works, features an equisite Ethiopian opal with shifting flashes of color, set within an 18K gold hive setting. A sculpted 18K gold bee rests against the surface, adding focus and scale while interacting naturally with the opal beneath. The combination highlights contrast between movement and structure, allowing the opal�s play-of-color and the gold detailing to work together without excess.
