This ring represents another design in my collection of Climate Change inspired designs. In this case inspired by images viewed during our travels in the Arctic. Working from my photographs as well as memories of the amazing interplay of light along the glacier walls, I designed the ring using a segment of a Moonstone Crystal representing the moving glacial surface, with an inlaid watery blue faceted Aquamarine representing melting ice within, and the silver setting shaped to further represent the glacial boundry with the water. The stones sit in a way that suggests movement, as if one surface is giving way to another. The composition feels cool and fluid, with light playing gently across the ring as it turns.
