This pendant was designed based on the main character in the ballet Swan Lake, using a combination of images including a profile of a model, with diamond earring, and images from the Ballet itself including paintings of the main character with a swan, and photos of Pavlova in her ballet costume including a headress of feathers. The piece was carved from Peruvian Opal with the hair of silver, diamonds for the earring, and the swan carved in warthog tusk and colored in appropriate inks.
